Private sharing & high-resolution exports

Private by default, shared only when you decide.

Every tree is private by default. Share a link with relatives only when you decide they should see it. When you're ready, turn your tree into a print ready PDF or high resolution image with clean lines, legible names, and no watermark.

Find anyone in seconds and trace exactly how two relatives connect across the generations.

Questions

Family tree maker, answered.

01Is Kinleaf free to use?

Yes. Kinleaf is free while it is in beta, with no payment step and no card required. Build your tree, import your GEDCOM or Gramps data, and export anytime.

02Do I need any genealogy experience?

No. The builder works in plain language. Add a parent, a partner, or a child without learning genealogy terms. Most people add their first few relatives in a couple of minutes.

03Can I import a tree I already have?

Yes. Import a GEDCOM file from another tool and keep editing online. Fields Kinleaf doesn't show yet are preserved as raw data, so nothing about your family is quietly thrown away.

04Who can see my family tree?

Only you, until you choose otherwise. New trees are always private. You can share a private link with relatives or publish a public page later, entirely on your terms.

05Can I export and back up my data?

Anytime. Export your whole archive as GEDCOM, JSON, PDF, or PNG and keep an offline backup. Your data belongs to you, and is yours to keep.

Your family story deserves a home that lasts.

Free during beta. Start your first tree, import your data, and export anytime.
